Frequently Asked Questions
What is the attire for the weekend?
Clean casual clothes, jeans, and shorts are acceptable. For Saturday, closed toe shoes or sneakers are recommended because weather permitting, there will be outdoor experiential exercises.
I have an important event during this weekend -- will I be able to leave?
We recognize that there is no good weekend to run this event, and we strongly encourage students to stay for the entire event; however, we will make exceptions on occasion.
What is the student to chaperone ratio?
Drew University was intentionally chosen because it is a very secure campus. The student to chaperone ratio is seven to one (broken out by gender).
Are there any expenses for this weekend that are not covered by the Rotary Club?
All lodging, food and beverages are included in the fee paid by the Rotary Club. Some students, however, prefer to have their own spending money to purchase items from the vending machines.
Where should my parents go to pick me up?
Students can be picked up at 11 AM on Sunday from the dormitory where the child registered.
