Armiger International recognizes the importance
of giving back to the communities in which we live and work
and is, therefore, very involved in supporting various charitable
organizations.
The organizations we support have grown from our associates’
interests and personal involvement. Following is a snapsnot

Africa University
The mission of Africa University is to provide quality education
within a Pan-African context through which persons can acquire
general and professional knowledge and skills, grow in spiritual
maturity, develop sound moral values, ethics and leadership
qualities. The vision of Africa University is improved quality
of life, peace and prosperity for the peoples of Africa through
quality higher education that includes teaching, research,
community service and leadership development.

The American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nationwide, community-
based voluntary health organization. Headquartered in Atlanta,
Georgia, the ACS has state divisions and more than 3,400 local
offices. They provide cancer information services, community
programs and services, research, advocacy and public policy
and special events fundraising to support their research and
programs.

The Arthritis Foundation
The Arthritis Foundation is the only national not-for-profit
organization that supports the more than 100 types of arthritis
and related conditions with advocacy, programs, services and
research.

Homeless Solutions
Homeless Solutions has strengthened its commitment to completing
the continuum of care for the homeless from shelter to independent
housing. Their goal, through a Permanent Housing Development
Program, is to build, partner with others, and advocate for
others to build scattered site housing for very low-income
people.

Jersey Battered Womens Service
Since 1976, Jersey Battered Women’s Service, Inc. (JBWS)
has provided valuable life-saving services to victims of domestic
violence and their families. Our mission is to prevent domestic
violence through the protection and empowerment of the victim,
to rehabilitate family members, and to educate the public
about domestic violence and its consequences.

The Rainforest Foundation
Founded in 1989, the Rainforest Foundation is a non-profit
organization based in New York. It is dedicated to protecting
the rights of rainforest groups who find their traditional
lands and human rights threatened. Their mission is to support
Indigenous and traditional populations of the rainforest in
their efforts to protect their environment and fulfill their
rights by assisting them

Rotary
Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional
leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high
ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill
and peace in the world. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians

Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
For more than 20 years, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
has been a global leader in the fight against breast cancer
through its support of innovative research and community-based
outreach programs. Working through a network of U.S. and international
Affiliates and events like the Komen Race for the Cure®,
the Komen Foundation is fighting to eradicate breast cancer
as a life-threatening disease by funding research grants and
supporting education, screening and treatment projects in
communities around the world.
